Can be for school, leisure, whatever.

For English, I'm reading Huckleberry Finn and A Raisin in the Sun. Next quarter is Shakespeare time, with Macbeth and R&J. I'm finishing up the Iliad and the Odyssey on my own time.

For myself, I'm reading:

The Tenth Circle by Jodi Picoult (again)

Gone by Michael Grant

Marie, Dancing
Mozart's Shadow
Duchessina
(All by Carolyn Meyer)

Hurt Go Happy by Ginny Rorby

*gasp* MacBeth?! Your gonna be cursed ES! Kidding kidding

For School:
To Kill A Mockingbird
The Angel Expirement (finshed! awwwwwesome book!)

Leisure:
School's Out Forever (finsihed! another awwwwesome book)
(can't remember the full name!) Maximum Ride: Other Extreme Sports
Castle Roogna (sounds weird, but it's pretty sweet for people who like myth/fantasy)

My list is small compared to yours, haha!

Ugh... I can't list a few due to their titles.
So far this school year I've read:

The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne

The Age of Innocence by Edith Wharton (I had to read this for LA as an outside reading prodject. I hated it, I wished I picked a different one. I should have read the Grapes of Wrath or something of Steinbeck's.

The Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin (It's quite intresting actually. I found some of the early jobs he had a bit unusual for him though. Oh! I read this for fun too.)

Canary Row by John Steinbeck

Something that has an innappropriate title by Jeffrey Eugenides (One of the best books ever though, ES you might like this one I think.)

The Almost Moon by Alice Sebold (In process of reading)

I hope to read a few more books like Catch 22 and Catcher in the Rye too.

I found another book in my pile - It's called "The Sweet, Terrible, Glorious Year I Truly, Completely Lost It" by [...]Shanahan. Dunno the first name.

Kitty, PM me the title of that book, would ya? 8D

Steph, I actually like Shakespeare. I'm weird, though. u.u I've been downloading books like Jane Eyre, Pride and Prejudice, The Color Purple, etc, onto my eReader. Kitty, have you read Of Mice and Men?

Yeah, Mice and Men I found quite sad at the end. I just love Stienbeck's style though, so that made up for it. Poor Lennie though, you could tell that the way George was acting that it'd end sort of that way. I mean the trips into town and all, still quite a depressing ending though.

@Ballad: John is so awesome! In my class we read it and I was Elizabeth. xD

I'm obessed over one of my brothers books and want it for myself! (Too bad he isn't done with it.)
It's called "The Accidental Mind" and is informative, sort of a first person essay. I love the writing style though!
Otherwise I'm reading a sad, sad, sad book called "The Fixer" about an innocent russian jew being charged for murder all because he's jewish. Poor guy... :[

I'm currently reading The Irish Tiger by Andrew Greeley. I've read several of his books. He's pretty interesting, especially if you're of Irish descent.

Right now, I'm reading Jane Eyre (for school), Inkheart, and The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.

ES just got a new bookshelf and, when putting her books on it, found about ten that she wanted to read (or reread). So this year will be veeerrryyy good. <3

I'm the kind of person that really doesn't enjoy reading. I mean, I find it boring but because of school, am forced to read...

So right now I'm reading something called "The Underneath" about some cats and a dog.
